- Lead an Amazon Delivery Station of over 200 associates and manage last mile operations, i.e., oversee the sortation and delivery of Amazon orders to the end-user.- Build and optimize several hundred delivery routes daily while minimizing last mile cost with effective troubleshooting and data analysis.- Maintain optimal headcount to achieve daily through-put goals while minimizing variable cost.- Last mile cost per package of $1.52 and variable CPP of $0.37 contributing to a total outbound CPP of $3.52 against a baseline of $3.90 (2018 YTD); total outbound savings per package of $0.38.- Responsible for on-road success; Sustained a 99.50% (or higher) delivery success rate for core and same day routes since starting at current delivery station in August, 17’.- Develop weekly concessions reports for last mile delivery station and exchange point; facilitate weekly concessions review meetings with delivery service providers.- Participate in Lean/Kaizen, Black Belt, and other Operational Excellence initiatives.- high performing AMZL First Team member responsible for Interviewing, hiring, training, and developing future leaders.- Ensure compliance throughout the site to global process standards and work on continuous improvement initiatives including safety and area organization audits.

- Optimize vessel operations and ensure profitability through the execution of multi-million dollar service agreements, development of production forecasts, and reduction of operating costs- Allocate labor, cranes and other equipment to enhance vessel productivity and streamline day-to-day operations by developing contingency plans to minimize downtime- Apply sound knowledge of collective bargaining agreements to negotiate work schedules with stevedores and combine strong communication and organizational skills to coordinate stevedoring activities with ILA foreman- Motivate team to reach production goals by creating a culture of accountability and holding team meetings to communicate operating procedures, expectations, and workplace safety- Ensure team compliance with OSHA requirements, Environmental Health and Safety regulations, Homeland Security mandates, and internal policies- Work extensively with NAVIS N4 Terminal Operating System including Sparcs, Navis Monitor, PrimeRoute, Expert Decking, and Analytics modules

- Supervise container yard operations at the largest multi-user container terminal in North America; 454 acres, 8 berths, 24 gantry cranes, and a fleet of 210 straddle carriers- Monitor gate activity and respond to any IT issues or other outages- Provide excellent customer service for clients including trucking companies, agents, surveyors, and steamship line representatives, as well as, assisting US Customs to ensure compliance- Communicate in a team-oriented environment to cooperatively prevent bottlenecks within the inbound and outbound portals- Oversee a truckline consisting of 300 slots to establish an efficient turnaround

- Responsible for the development and implementation of internal safety regulations- Mitigate safety risks by conducting internal vessel audits and inspecting work areas- Conduct bi-weekly safety check in meetings to discuss new operating procedures, safety news and terminal updates; Comprehensive monthly check in meetings with union labor to stress company safety initiatives- During my tenure on the committee, the number of accidents fell from 50 in 2014 to 37 in 2016, significantly reducing lost time.- Organized and coordinated the annual safety/health fair that was designed to educate our labor force about the importance of safety and also to raise health awareness.
