AdCats is a student-run group who works with real clients around Tucson in marketing, advertising, branding, consulting, and design. As an account executive, I was responsible for finding and leading projects, and worked with small businesses and UA organizations. I was also responsible as design lead on many of the projects, creating branding, advertising, and marketing materials for the clients.

The Arizona Resource Connection (ARC) is an amazing group of University of Arizona affiliated individuals who strive to help build Tucson's community by empowering the more than 10,000 local refugees with the skills, products, and opportunities necessary to grow into productive members of the community. Simultaneously, it helps students involved learn real life skills in inter-cultural/international relations, business management, event management, Corporate Social Responsibility, team management, and more by empowering them with control over diverse projects whose results are tangible and directly affect their community. As President, my responsibilities included team oversight, event management/oversight, meeting organization and leading, organization direction, and project results. During my tenure, we were able to raise over $6,000 in a charity concert for the building of a school in the Sudan; raised another $1,500 in donations for the Tucson refugee community; and oversaw several events including bike drives, donation drives, business skill training sessions, and community recreation events. Before being elected to President, as a Project Manager our teams were able to collect and distribute over 20,000 school supplies to underfunded refugee students in the community.
