I am currently an independent consultant, specializing in conducting primary and secondary research, and developing data driven analysis to inform market research / due diligence for private equity and corporate clients.Previously, I was a Director for Blue Nile’s Strategy group. In that role, I lead a team focused on identifying, developing, and executing on key strategic opportunities across the business to drive both near-term results and the long-term strategic direction of the business.Prior to Blue Nile, I was a Manager in Bain’s Washington DC office. During my time at Bain, I developed deep expertise in Retail (both B2B and Consumer), as well as growth strategy and Private Equity.Before Bain, I taught high school math in Phoenix at the school I was placed at through Teach for America. I hold an MBA from Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia, a M.Ed. from Arizona State University, and a BA in Philosophy-Neuroscience-Psychology (PNP) and Political Science from Washington University in St. Louis.Outside of work, I am passionate about enhancing access to opportunities, and enjoy the outdoors, cooking, poker, and sports in my free time.
