A Digital Entertainment Company, Mr. Grimes oversees all of the company's finance functions, including treasury, accounting, financial planning and analysis, tax, and investor relations. He also works closely on all strategic matters with the company's co-founders.

Mr. Grimes was the Sr. Vice President of Finance, at MTV and VH1, divisions of Viacom International, overseeing their financial operations for their television and digital production operations, based in New York, NY. There he was responsible for all aspects of shaping and executing the channels financial strategies and operations for programming across not only television but also all other platforms. Over the course of his 20 year career in Production Finance at MTV Networks, Mr. Grimes worked his way up from production accountant, to a position that was responsible for overseeing $650 Million dollars in programming cash, which generated over $1 billion in revenue annually. Mr. Grimes was a highly visible, key executive at MTV and VH1, responsible for saving MTV Networks hundreds of millions of dollars over his tenure. Mr. Grimes was a member of the Executive Programming Councils for MTV and VH1, which were responsible for ALL programming green lights and scheduling decisions. He helped generate close to $1 billion in ad revenue during that time, thanks to programming and scheduling decisions he helped to get implemented. During his tenure he was involved in the green-lighting of such ground breaking programs as The Osbournes, Newlyweds, Punk’d, Rock Of Love, Teen Mom, and Jersey Shore.

Directed and coordinated daily financial operations for the $600 million Production Group that includes the MTV and VH1 brands. Managed yearly financial forecasting cycle to effectively administer budget, long-range planning, and strategic assessment processes in conjunction with senior department leaders. Worked collaboratively with Senior Operating Team to ensure budgets and yearly production plans were appropriately managed and properly executed. Built and maintained long-term, quality vendor relationships and negotiated vendor agreements.Notable Accomplishments:Prepared annual strategic business plans and budget presentations to Viacom management.Created valuable analysis for senior executives, that were used to illustrate a program's longevity and return on investment.Sole Finance Member of Senior Programming Council which was responsible for ALL programming decisions at both MTV and VH1. These decisions include the green-lighting, episode orders, and scheduling of previous on-air series such as "Laguna Beach", "The Hills", "Celebrity Fit Club" and "Rock Of Love". Meticulously led 30 person production finance and accounting group responsible for reporting, managing cash flow and petty cash, and administering payroll for all in-house productions.Successfully developed and implemented ALL production accounting policies and procedures that are still being utilized today. Convened with a variety of internal and external audit groups to improve process and control. Reorganized finance staff on multiple occasions to continuously improve performance and productivity.
