• Serve as an AmeriCorps member through the Jesuit Volunteer Corps Northwest.• Conduct intake interviews with potential clients, predominantly immigrants and refugees in and around the Seattle/Tacoma region seeking legal assistance. • Assist with the various tasks found in a legal environment, including but not limited to: filing asylum applications, translating documents between Spanish and English, and submitting deferred action requests,• Served as the primary point of contact for the Tacoma South Unit, taking and managing roughly 60 calls a week.

• Synthesized global news sources in assistance with conducting a weekly food & agriculture newsletter reaching 7,000+ subscribers.• Conducted research on various issues pertaining to food, agriculture, and the environment in the context of contemporary global affairs.• Assisted with the facilitation of public events and forums featuring global leaders in the fields of politics, finance, and technology.

• Planned & managed baseline & impact research for a non-profit organization in partnership with over 80 communities throughout El Salvador with the goal of transforming their rural, impoverished communities.• Collected, processed, & analyzed data from surveys of 2,400+ households using existing research protocols & tools to generate research reports in developing sustainable, self-identified community development projects.

• Led and equipped a council of 10 individuals with varying strengths, skillsets, and opinions in the dual-nature role of creating/organizing programming for 600 students and capturing the unique experience of a cohort's Junior year of college.
