The Blair Research Group is an organization at UCF led by Dr. Richard G. Blair that focuses on reactions that are catalyzed by the "ball-milling" technique. Alongside Dr. Richard G. Blair and my graduate student mentor (Katerina Chagoya), my research was focused primarily on the formation of various Germanium iodide compounds. The data was collectively compiled & analyzed, acting as the foundation of our published research journal - it can be referenced here: https://iopscience.iop.org/article/10.1088/2053-1583/ac4715My responsibilities included: facilitating set up and manage the sublimation reaction, record data values, collect product formation, and present bi-weekly result-focused hypotheses with chemical reasoning.
