1. Deliver First Aid training ensuring valid and reliable assessment standards when undertaking tutorials or conducting tests/exams.2. Provide specialist advice, guidance and assistance relevant to your allocated area of delivery.3. Prepare concise and appropriate course reports and assessments of students during their training period.4. Ensure compliance with Health and Safety requirements whilst conducting training, working with electrical equipment and DSE requirements.5. Assess, coach and develop individuals according to their needs. Provide structured feedback and development plans for students undertaking First Aid training; seek advice, recommend and implement approved action when students are failing to achieve competence.6. ResponsibilitiesTo treat and transport emergency and urgent cases in accordance with guidelines and Trust protocols.To provide BLS/ILS.Undertake emergency driving duties on all types of vehicles.Assessment of patients, planning and implementing of care and treatment. Handling Prescribing and administering drugs within my scope of practice.ECG recognition, FAST test pathways for CVA and the diagnosis treatment and referral of a range of cardiac conditions.To communicate report and document the patients’ medical history, condition and treatment to a full range of medical staff including colleagues, nurses, doctors and consultants either on route to or arrival at definitive care.To determine the appropriate destination for the patient to include the initiation of treatment linked to an agreed and regulated care pathway in association with other health, mental and social care professionals in cases where transport to hospital is not required.To assist in major incidents and when necessary act in an Incident Management Role.Work with with other emergency services as required.Make dynamic risk assessment of the environment and general situation, having due regard for the health and safety of self and others. Maintain confidentiality of any patient information and records not withstanding the Child Protection and Vulnerable Adults legislation.Keep clear, accurate and legible records, reporting the relevant clinical findings, the decisions made, the information given and any drugs or treatment.
