I manage product development and operations at Groupeasy, a web-based application that enables groups to communicate, schedule, organize, and perform while storing important artifacts such as documents and images. I have over 20 years of experience in the information technology and services industry, developing and bringing innovative products to market.My core competencies include computer science, applied mathematics, data analytics, and product management. I am an integrator by nature, who can mold ideas and tools from different disciplines together into elegant and effective solutions. I am also an excellent communicator who can describe complex problems in simple, straightforward terms.I have a proven track record of applying mathematical techniques and computer science to improve business processes and decisions, such as generating optimal rates for hospitals, increasing user retention and engagement for web applications and optimizing customer data integration. I have also managed IT development, operations, and support, as well as web-based marketing and call center management. I have a BA and MA in Mathematics, with concentrations in Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Psychology, Computer Science, and Physics from Appalachian State University.Outside of work, I am a cofounder of the Dulatown Preservation Society, a non-profit organization that preserves and promotes the story of Dulatown, a small community in Lenoir NC. I enjoy working with tight knit teams of individuals who are passionate about what they do. My go-to physical activity is hot vinyasa, a form of yoga, which I try to practice daily. I am a curious life learner who is energized by new challenges and opportunities.
