Joseph Hill is a dynamic and emerging leader with a love for Utah. He is a dedicated advocate for Utah’s environmental sustainability and public welfare. With a background in customer service and public policy and a profound commitment to effecting real change, Joseph brings a unique set of skills and dedication to his work. Joseph studies at Arizona State University, where he pursues a degree in Public Service and Community Solutions with focus on Law and Policy, complimented by minors in Political Science and Leadership Ethics. His academic pursuits have provided him with a comprehensive understanding of legal frameworks, economic policies, and political dynamics, positioning him as a knowledgeable and qualified agent for change. Joseph is also a Team Captain and leader of the Arizona State University Track and Field team, and has participated in numerous Pac-12 Championships.Joseph began in politics as a Campaign Consultant at Election Hive, where he played a pivotal role in supporting notable candidates such as Representative Blake Moore in his unexpected win in Utah’s 1st congressional district, and other state legislative races. Joseph’s leadership and collaborative abilities were instrumental in driving strategic campaign initiatives forward. He collaborated with the Utah Medical Association to identify legislative implications helping the association respond to emerging policy challenges. He also dedicated his time and expertise to ground-level initiatives with the Utah Department of Natural Resources aimed at preserving the ecological integrity of the Great Salt Lake, reaffirming his commitment to the environment and his community.As an Intern for Salt Lake County Mayor Jenny Wilson's office, Joseph leverages his expertise to assist in critical research and data collection that informs policy decisions. His role involves engaging with and supporting stakeholders to effectively execute policy initiatives, demonstrating his strong commitment to public service and community solutions. Joseph is proficient in Spanish, and is a skilled networker, leader, and communicator.
