I started my career at Deloitte. I learned my solid and professional skills in serving clients and team-building with my subordinates. Before leaving in 2009, I regularly served two to three listed companies as an audit manager and came across different industries ranging from technology, and pharmaceutical to conglomerate companies. Before leaving in 2009, I regularly served two to three listed companies as an audit manager and came across different industries ranging from technology, and pharmaceutical to conglomerate companies. I was leaving to explore more challenges and opportunities in the commercial sector because I always asked myself – How to understand a company better and deeper. It is obvious to work as an internal staff, which is better than being an external auditor.Just like other auditors, I kicked off my commercial career with IPOs. Renheng (仁恆) was a wonderful platform to develop practical skills as the financial controller and company secretary. I set up its financial reporting and internal control system, managed full sets of group and subsidiaries’ accounts and prepared the prospectus with an external auditor, lawyers, sponsor, etc. On the other hand, I worked with board members by organising agendas, minutes and documents to be tabled for meetings. My business sense was gradually developed by communicating with real businessmen.The scale of business makes the call for everything. In switching to Risun (旭陽), I enrich my horizontal to conglomerate – groups of companies governed by an integrated business model with synergy. Risun has many business segments and they are dependent on each other. After development for 30 years, Risun is relying on a business scale of several ten billion and compliance duties occupy my work attention. However, I still contribute to managing the financial reporting of Hong Kong companies for equity financing and investor relationships. My financial sense works well with my business sense.
