-Senior Mechanical Engineer involved in the full design of HVAC and plumbing projects. Clients include restaurant, dental office, residential (single family and high rise), industrial (hydrogen, vehicle maintenance, parking), and others. -Supervises a small team of mechanical engineers including reviewing work and providing guidance with design options and code requirements.-I work closely with California (and International) building codes including LID, Title 24, local city municipal codes, and CalGreen. Experienced with Revit and AutoCAD for mechanical and plumbing design work.

- Project manager and design for Torrance Memorial North Wing Projects including Penthouse HVAC, Temporary HVAC, Fifth Floor, Fourth Floor NICU, and Third Floor PEDS.- Penthouse HVAC: OSHPD # S142753. Replace existing penthouse HVAC equipment with one large air handling unit to serve floors 2-5. Replaces several existing AHUs serving different floors of the building with one 185 ton AHU. Replace DEFs serving isolation rooms in the tower. Includes Belimo Energy Valve on CHW valve. Budget is $3M. Worked as prime engineer managing all other disciplines for this OSHPD project. - Temporary HVAC: OSHPD # S142752. Temporary project limited to 180 days. Supply occupied 2nd floor Post-Partum with temporary 100% OSA AHUs placed in 3rd floor corridors and exhaust fans to serve existing supply/return/general exhaust risers. Budget is $1M.- Fifth Floor: OSHPD # S142737. Replace existing HVAC distribution for 30 patient rooms and core spaces including isolation rooms. Budget is $4M.- Fourth Floor: OSHPD # S142736. NICU remodel for 24 NICU patient rooms and two isolation rooms. Delete patient toilets and reroute existing plumbing risers for service to 5th floor. Budget is $5M.- Third Floor: OSHPD #S142734. PEDS remodel for 24 patient rooms and two isolation rooms. Budget is $4M- Caltech Karman Laboratory including AHU and lab equipment for a clean room.

- Engineering support for SDG&E and SCE programs LEEP and HEEP involving hotels and hospitals throughout Southern California. ASHRAE Level II audits of HVAC systems, lighting, and process loads including cost estimates and payback analysis. - Verification of calculated savings through measurement and verification involving analysis of logging data. - Compared possible projects to Title 24 2013 and California Mechanical Code standards to quantify incentives for exceeding code.- Over 45 hotels and 30 hospitals surveyed, eQUEST model calibrated, and energy efficiency measures discussed in ASHRAE Level II reports.
