As a highly motivated, life-long learner, I have extensive experience and expertise in designing and implementing data and statistical analysis plans and the supporting technological capabilities. I have specialized in analyzing and managing medical, clinical, and real-world data used in delivering evidence and insights to advance health care services and improve the quality of patient lives. My work has enabled the defining of innovative medical and commercial strategies and solutions with insights like targeted patient populations and prescription journeys that support the medical teams with the creation of publications, education and communications material for Patients, Key Opinion Leaders and Medical communities. My motivation and drive come from the immense impact on excellent patient care.My career path began in Information Technology and I achieved a Master’s in Computer Science. Interestingly enough, this technology knowledge formed the foundation of learning and understanding what could be done with the right tools and insights. From the beginning of my career, I gravitated toward working with the newest technology. As an example, at one point, I was managing our companies first Internet, Video Conferencing and Remote Access Services. As technology began to standardize and mature, I shifted focus to the latest challenges in the industry which included global operating and service model development, process optimization, data management and analytics and continuous improvement programs, (I have Six Sigma black belt training). A strong secondary fascination of mine was medicine and science so I obtained my Master’s in Biomedical Engineering where my coursework and research focused on Data Analytics, In-silico Modeling, Genomics and Bioinformatics. The combination of my professional and academic experience provided me with the background to again shift to another groundbreaking area, real-world data, evidence, and insights.Complex business solutions ignite the creative, innovative problem-solving side of me. I revel in identifying and implementing solutions that directly improve real life. I really enjoy collaborating with others who are also driven to deliver high quality ground-breaking solutions that provide significant business value. I also find immense gratification in coaching and mentoring others by providing understandings from my personal experience and learnings.
