JOSEPH IRBY literally grew up in the power and communications infra-structure business. As a student, he worked on the construction crews during the summers, and after joining the company full-time, he served in the roles of project superintendent, manager of operations, and ultimately as leader of the powerline construction portion of the Irby family enterprise. He also served as a director and advisor in preparation for the $440 million (CPI Adj.) sale of the Irby companies which continue to grow and prosper.Under Joe’s leadership, Irby Construction became the nation’s most profitable EVH powerline construction company, completing projects from south Florida to Alaska and southern California to New England.
