Connect is a network of NPOs and churches collaborating to transform communities by helping women and children at risk. Network members are currently working with 310,000 people, mainly women and children but this figure includes more than 25,000 men. Over 80% are black or coloured from marginalised local communities. The network was founded in 2004 and comprises of 115 organizations involved in five main areas of concern to families in the Greater Cape Town area: * Violence * Orphans and vulnerable children (OVC) * Limited education * Sexual exploitation * Crisis PregnancyLead a team that facilitate and coordinate network building activities which stimulate collaboration, synergy, partnerships, advocacy, equipping & capacity building, sourcing and mobilization of resources for and amongst Affiliate Organisations.
