I have over eight years' experience working with Content Management Systems.I've managed a greenfield project, to build a web based client profile management solution for financial products for a London based brokerage firm. The business application analysed historical data and conducted performance analysis. It incorporated multiple views based on User types, Clients, Sales and Administrators.The contract entailed drawing out the scope of the project, managing budgets and timelines and coordinating between international teams from various disciplines - Finance and IT primarily, to understand the nature of the project and stick to development timelines.I was involved in the entire project lifecycle. At Raleigh International, I was responsible for the strategic direction of Raleigh International's India programme. I led an international team of 22 in the programmatic and operational delivery of Raleigh's DfID funded International Citizen Programme in India. Together we ran a programme that covered 36 project sites with teams numbering 200 UK and 200 Indian students every year, in challenging circumstances.The work involved liaising between a diverse range of stakeholders, including India and UK Government officials, local project partners and authorities, the trustee board in India and the UK, the senior management team in the UK and the operational team in India.I had financial responsibility of close to £600,000, and led the closure programme of the India office.

I joined the IBA to take over a new team of four to manage the company's family of websites using a bespoke Content Management System. I further went on to develop business applications, including: ChaiTime - an employee intranet and time management system, Rule of Law Directory - a legal client directory CTS - a conference ticketing system that generated business worth more than a million Pounds Sterling on the first day. Over the five years I worked at the IBA, I edited films and presentations using Adobe Creative Suite, I trained on data management on the MSSQL Business Intelligence suite and built Adobe Flash applications. The business applications were built using Microsoft's ASP.NET platform with C#, MSSQL Server 2008 (T-SQL), jQuery, CSS and HTML5.

My work involved maintaining the eighteen separate web sites of the institution, which is a UK government physical sciences laboratory with 2,000 employees. a) I used a content management system called CONTENSIS to update the sites, based on the requests I got from the online managers of the different sites on a ‘Footprints’ helpdesk. b) I was responsible for maintaining the design, look and feel of the sites, keeping them contemporary and maintaining strict CSS and HTML validation and cross browser compatibility standards by regularly redesigning the templates of the sites.c) I designed science based games using JavaScript for state schools associated with the centre

• I was the web master for the Peace Child International web site (www.peacechild.org) and worked in a team to create and write content for the Peace Child family of websites (www.peacechildindia.org).• I have worked on several important UK government and UN publications, researching and conducting surveys and then publishing the reports through internet and print media. • The organization was focused on sustainable development education, and subsequently a major part of my work and research concentrated on generating data related to sustainable development education and the environment. I then edited and rewrote this data into interesting, easily understandable articles and updated content for the web sites.• I was the project coordinator for the organization’s international intern programme in India, and have been directly responsible for placing more than 2800 UK and US volunteers in projects in India.
