My role entails bringing together financial and operational data to support tertiary care service lines in designing and implementing operational strategies, and enhancing service excellence.

Served as subject matter expert on Medi-Cal Behavioral Health policies and regulatory matters. Led regulatory program design, development, and implementation through gap analysis, stakeholder analysis, project chartering, and planning. Facilitated regional behavioral health workgroups across multiple sub-domains to address key questions, mitigate risks, and ensure high-quality deliverables. Collaborated on program development and policy implementation with Medi-Cal plan partners, external providers, and county mental health plans to minimize administrative burdens and promote efficient care coordination.

Developed foundational business intelligence, reporting, and program management capabilities in a newly formed department to enable sustainable, repeatable, and trackable project delivery. Advised leadership on program prioritization, business case development, and financial model rationalization. Created and maintained various reporting assets, including program charters and financial templates. Key projects included developing a bi-directional reporting interface for contract data, building a PowerBI dashboard for HR data analysis, establishing a centralized tracking mechanism for a CEO-sponsored national cost mitigation initiative, and launching a company-wide ‘bureaucracy busting’ initiative to streamline processes and manage high-value ideas from ideation to implementation.

Conducted financial analysis for a national investment program portfolio. Proactively drove performance by defining, standardizing, and executing finance and governance processes. Created and maintained financial reports and dashboards to inform decisions at both project and portfolio levels. Served as the primary point of contact for business partners and key stakeholders, aiding in the creation and rationalization of project Business Cases and financial models. Held weekly financial review meetings to address financial risks and prepare for reporting deadlines. Developed and implemented portfolio-wide business process improvements. Assisted in vendor management and supported contracting efforts. Conducted variance analysis at portfolio, project, and resource levels.

Reviewed and approved sourcing contracts to ensure quality and compliance, provided end-to-end clinet support in the sourcing process, and maintained multiple contract systems. Ran queries, performed analyses, and produced reports to inform team decisions. Contributed to defining requirements, piloting, and rolling out the new national procurement system, OneLink Services Procurement.
