13 + years experience with Irish Rail where my development has allowed me take over such roles as Assistant Engineer in the CCE Department, Project Manager over multi million euro projects such as the Awbeg River Bridge renewal, the construction of the new station platform and associated track renewal and resignalling works in Limerick JunctionUp until February 2019 I was Assistant Regional Manager responsible for the infrastructural assets and safety of all elements of the railway between Portlaoise and Limerick Junction, including the Nenagh Railway line. From Feb 2019 to July 2020 I successfully delivered in the role of Project Manager for the Dublin to Cork Ballast Cleaning Project. Most recently I am Acting Regional Manager South for the Limerick Junction Division, with responsibility for the maintenance and renewal of Track and Structural Assets on the Dublin-Cork main line and also the Mallow-Tralee rail line. I am highly skilled in Leadership, Communication, IT, Infrastructure Management, Team Building, Environmental Awareness, Bugdet Control, Safety, and Construction. I have a Bachelor of Engineering Honours degree in Civil Engineering, I am an active member of the Institute of Engineers Ireland and am currently in the process of completing my charter-ship.
