The Pro Seminar course in the Thunderbird BGM program is a capstone course designed to draw on all other subjects studied at Thunderbird while learning refined research and descriptive analyst/consultative skills and applying them, in real-time, to a real global organizational challenge. The Professor will lead class sessions on assigned readings and practical tools to research organizational challenges as they manifest in the real world. Alongside class time, much of the course is concerned with delivering results to a real-world “client” organization which will contribute an organizational challenge, via a scope of work (SOW), to the course. In addition to the technical skills demanded and developed through this process, communication with the client during each stage is critical to project success.
