Supporting Vascular Components and Assemblies Product Line with a focus on Structural Heart Delivery Systems (TAVR, TMVR, TMVr, LAAO, PFO/ASD, etc), Neurovascular Delivery Systems, Vascular Coil components, as well as Wire and Tube Components.

Worked on the Tendyne transcatheter mitral valve replacement (TMVR) system.Heart Valve Frame Development:- NiTi valve frame material characterization in support of FEA modeling- Axial fatigue testing- Nitinol heat forming, grit blasting, chemical etching, electropolishing- CT dimensional analysis of complex 3D valve frame geometry- Implantable nitinol device corrosion testing, potentiodynamic polarization, galvanic, surface oxide analysis

Collaborated with a team to gain 510(k) clearance of an interventional vascular medical device. Led the technical team in product development and design. Selected and tested materials, testing interaction of materials and components (DOE).

Managed new products from prototype to sustained production phases. Facilitated and actively participated in new product development. Lead meetings with customers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams. Worked closely with customers on design for manufacturing and assembly (DFMA) to meet design requirements in a cost effective manner. Aided in material selection and materials processing - Nitinol (NiTi), Stainless Steel, MP35N, NiTiCo, Platinum, Tungsten, alloys and clad materials, PTFE dip and spray coatings, Parylene coatings, Hydrophilic and Hydrophobic coatings. Identified new equipment requirements, spec'ed out machines with suppliers, installed and qualified equipment. Developed new manufacturing processes, improved and optimized existing processes.

On the receiving end of an international product line site transfer, I Installed and qualified complex manufacturing equipment. Carried out extensive troubleshooting and modification/improvement of said equipment. Developed manufacturing processes, documentation, and fixtures (conducted qualifications and validations as needed).

Developed manufacturing process and flow for new product line to upgrade aircraft Heads Up Displays. Researched Highly Accelerated Life Test (HALT) and Highly Accelerated Stress Screen (HASS) test methods and equipment. Worked extensively with key supplier of acrylic optical lenses to solve quality issues by implementing process controls and equipment modifications .

In the context of military grade electrical connectors, I developed manufacturing documentation with a focus on visual work instructions. Created BOMs and routings for new products, updated BOMs and routings for existing products. Designed tooling and fixtures to reduce scrap and increase efficiency.
