- Provides clinical services to clients in the Emotional Support Program within the Colonial Academy. - Provides supervision of staff within Emotional Support classrooms by tracking daily/ monthly/ yearly paperwork, modeling appropriate use of interventions and providing best practice classroom components to be utilized for the betterment of the students.- Develops, writes and directs the implementation of a goal treatment plan, which addresses the specific needs of an assigned student within a caseload.- Provides counseling to emotional support students with a variety of mental health needs which are therapeutic, flexible strategies that engage clients.- Provides assistance with documentation as per the Department of Public Welfare and the Pennsylvania Department of Education Regulations, as well as best practices in the provision of mental health services.- Collaborates with others in the provision of mental health services for clients in the Colonial Academy by attending weekly administration meetings.- Provides a safe environment through verbal de-escalation and TACT II management.

- To develop, write and direct the implementation of a behavior management plan, which addresses the specific needs of an assigned client.- To utilize the collaborative treatment planning process, which includes all involved parties in identifying needs, steps and intervention strategies.- To provide direction to the Therapeutic Staff Support in the implementation of the treatment plan including training in the specific interventions if necessary.- To provide consultation with all involved parties including family, school, and community members to assist in the implementation of the plan.- To develop a Severe Behavioral Plan, which can address steps to be implemented in a crisis situation.- To provide weekly supervision as indicated under MA requirements.- To provide documentation to meet the requirements of medical assistance managed care organizations, and CIU20 guidelines.- To review and approve with signature all documentation provided by assigned Therapeutic Staff Support.- To implement and adhere to CASSP principles in the provision of mental health services.- To attend and participate in monthly Provider 50 in-service programs to insure clinical competence and an awareness of administrative responsibilities.

- Under the direction of the Level IV Treatment Coordinator, will provide clinical services to clients in the Partial Hospitalization Program.- Under the direction of the Level IV Treatment Coordinator, will provide assistance with documentation as per the Department of Public Welfare and the Pennsylvania Department of Education Regulations, as well as best practices in the provision of mental health services.- Under the direction of the Level IV Treatment Coordinator, will collaborate with others in the provision of mental health services for clients in the Partial Hospitalization Program.- Provides a safe environment through verbal de-escalation and TACT II management.

- Assist in the development and implementation of a Truancy Diversion Program based on current research, evidence based practices and suggestions from the Pennsylvania Department of Education.- Collaborate with 8 School Districts, Northampton County Children Youth and Families and District Judges in the prevention of truant behavior through a variety of interventions.- Manage caseload of students identified as chronically truant and asses needs.- Asses’ students school engagement, career goals and interests to develop a Truancy Elimination Plan to assist in their academic career.- Refers students to outside agencies for further assessment and assistance.- Develop and maintain a database of quarterly and yearly cases to assist in the improvement of program outcomes.- During the 2011-2012 school year, assisted in the completion of a grant provided by Northampton Children, Youth and Families to develop a model Truancy Reduction program that included incentive based programming, experiential programming, training opportunities and a collaborative assessment project with The Lehigh Valley Research Consortium.

- Managed special education department office and assisted professors in clerical duties.- Assisted department with curriculum materials for ongoing state teacher certification credentialing.- Assisted in research and curriculum materials for ongoing department projects.

- Developed, coordinated and implemented daily adventure, recreation and social activities for a 70-bed residential treatment facility.- Trained staff in Therapeutic Behavioral Management.- Supervised Recreation Staff and Mental Health Technicians during planned recreation activities.- Managed and inventoried the rock climbing wall, ropes course and recreation supplies.- Designed and facilitated team building workshops for the Mental Health Technicians and Clinical Team.
