Primesouth is a provider of Construction, Operations, and Maintenance services for utility power and industrial facilities in the U.S. and internationally. Operating continously since 1986 Primesouth employs between 50 and 100 personnel, with revenues between $6M-10M/yr. Some projects included operating a 580MW dual-fuel fired, combined cycle facility utilizing GE 7FA combustion turbines, operating a COGEN plant with LM6000s, and constructing/operating/ maintaining forward deployed DoD and NATO diesel power plants in Iraq and Afghanistan. Primesouth's experience base included operating aero-derivative and industrial combustion turbines, thermals, alternative energy (wind), and biomass-based energy plants. Primesouth steadily improved its financial performance beginning in 2010, and achieved its highest profitability over a 5yr period late in 2013, which led to it being acquired by an international investor group in early 2014.

Responsible for the corporate operation of the Navy's engineering directorate encompassing 540+personnel and an annual throughput of $600M. Led a team implementing the Critical Safety items material quality program. Influenced NAVSEA's pursuit of energy efficient technologies including alternate fuels. Chaired the 2010 American Society of Naval Engineers Energy Futures Symposium.

Managed a staff of 340+ and a $1B+ budget completing 49 major projects enhancing the Iraqi national electric grid. Constructed and commissioned two new power plants, an oil refinery, and oversaw operations, maintenance, and sustainment at the six largest Iraqi power plants (9GW installed capacity). As director of Military construction managed the construction of 120+ civil works projects including 12 Foreign Military Sales projects exceeding $2B.

Developed the first ESO business plan, created the start-up venture, and assumed a role as its first COO to coordinate Navy research and development investments in advanced electrical technologies.

Provided end to end support of the Navy's 50+ Business IT systems including software development.$58M/year revenue, 600 employees including satellite offices in San Diego and Japan.

Chief of Staff for Maintenance and Engineering ­ 2005-2006: Established business policy, maintenance planning, and engineering oversight for 110 surface ships, 226 small craft, and three floating dry docks. Managed a $559M annual budget. Oversaw the operation of the Navy's maintenance IT network and Maintenance University.

Directed operations of the Navy's AEGIS Guided Missile Destroyer new construction program on the Gulf Coast - (30% of the new ships in the US Navy). Oversaw concurrent construction, testing, and delivery of seven ships, and four ships under contract. Managed a staff of 220+. Construction contract $4.5B, total project value $11B. Responsible for all cost, schedule, technical, and quality performance.
