Parking cars in an efficient manner is a must in order to ensure that car wash service is completed in a timely manner. Maintained an orderly system of placement in order for coworkers to clean in the order each vehicle comes through. During particularly busy days and sudden rushes, speed and efficiency are maintained as preppers send vehicles through the tunnel at higher frequency. When maintaining parking order becomes impossible due to number of vehicles that haven't been finished, it is pertinent to remember what vehicle needs to be taken care of next in case a QC lost track of what vehicle was last parked. When busy, and vehicles are no longer being sent through the tunnel, it would become my responsibility to assist with cleaning in order to increase our completion rate.

This was an overnight shift. Primary responsibilities included providing fueling services for FedEx aircrafts at Alliance Airport and maintaining a clean and functional fuel farm. This included driving large fuel tanker trucks and hooking up to large and small aircrafts. Each fueling operation included filling out a receipt form for dispensed fuel and keeping a written record of each fueling. Especially for the smaller aircrafts, it was a boon to maintain a positive rapport with the pilots as it kept the fueling process smooth and problem free. Once the window for fueling (sort) was complete during each shift was complete, the ticket receipts kept for our company needed to be sorted properly, and written records were transcribed into the company database for record keeping purposes. Afterwards, it was necessary to handle receiving fuel deliveries to our fuel farm. As my shift ended later than that of the other overnight workers, it was also my responsibility to maintain oversight of the data input into the database. It was imperative that any incorrect data be found and corrected. Sometimes, this was as simple as finding a number that was input wrong, or that fueling receipts were credited to the wrong fuel truck. Other times, it involved sifting through tickets because the numbers didn't add up properly.

Responsibilities were varied. In some cases, stages needed to be assembled piece by piece, starting with the base and ending with placing its floor boards on top. Other times, trusses needed to be assembled. The trusses needed cables of various types to be run along them for use in hooking up lights and speakers. Highlight of the job was setting up for a presentation of the F-35 at Lockheed Martin for the Japanese Air Force purchase

While working for Blackhawk, the actual responsibilities of the job were for the James Hardy facility located in Waxahachie. Trucks would haul loads of sand for delivery, but it became time consuming for each truck to back up the ramp leading to the hopper. In order to decrease the time of each delivery in order to increase the number of loads of sand delivered, the sand was deposited on the ground, and it was the responsibility of the Sand Pusher to use a front end loader to carry the sand up the ramp and into the hopper. However, some days, when the sand silo was nearly full, the hopper would shut off, causing the sand to build up on the ground. So it was also important to call Blackhawk dispatch and inform them that they needed to cut back or even some days cease deliveries, as there was no more room to put the shipment.
