As the specialist in the Church and Dwight's maker space you will be responsible for driving the core behaviors that the space is designed for, innovation, iteration, and collaboration.This includes hosting seminars, workshops, training, and cross functional events. This will be in parallel to ensuring that the space is clean and all safety protocols are followed. You will be expected to maintain knowledge of the best practices in the industry and how those can be adapted and utilized to continue our core mission.Role Accountabilities And Responsibilities• Provide consulting services to partners wanting to use the spaces to create a variety of prototypes• Author/Support prep. and administration of Maker Space, Packaging Lab, and PE Lab Operating Procedures and Methodologies• Have a strong personality of influence, able to partner and create pull and usage of the space without direct reports• Lead site safety interface and documentation for Makerspace, PE Lab, and Packaging lab• Develop training and procedures for equipment in collaboration with our safety officer and appropriate subject-matter experts• Operate all existing capabilities and look at how to expand and matrix capabilities• Have a can-do attitude look to network across C&D to build out use cases• Engage in strategic discussions around space and growth of space and present the execution and metrics up to executives.• Ensure successful and safe usage of the Makerspace• Track budget and supplies in the space to ensure seamless operation• Maintain Makerspace equipment, work with and schedule outside repairs and execute self-repair issues.• Maintain supplies and equipment in two other lab spaces• Train and Oversee temp help on PE lab printers• Foster a welcoming and accessible environment that encourages trial and use.
