The Graduate Medical Education office oversees the education and administration of medical residents in GME-accredited programs. • Enrollment and eligibility specialist for CU GME Health/Dental Benefits plan that insures approximately 1,200 medical residents in Graduate Medicate Education training programs. • Coordinate communications and data collection program to track healthcare enrollment and comply with IRS reporting requirements per the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act. • Manage annual benefit transition period procedures: create and handle intake of onboarding materials for 350+ medical residents, intake of annual open enrollment submissions and inquiries, termination procedures for 300+ graduating medical residents. • Collaborate with Benefits Program Manager and third-party clinic in the implementation of annual Immunization/TB screening events. • Prepare, edit, and proofread communications for public distribution including GME benefits website, benefit enrollment forms and notices, e-learning modules, and benefit-related inquiries.• Act as Payroll Personnel Liaison for benefits-related tasks in Human Capital management (HCM) system including the calculation, input, and reconciliation of payroll deductions. • Support the GME Quality & Safety Program: redesign and update webpages for Quality & Safety Academy (QSA), monitor QSA email and event calendar, manage event registrations in Constant Contact, coordinate pre- and post-session communications, provide event support, track attendance, and compile year-end reports. • Collaborate with Benefits Manger and CU Employee Services to aid the transition of approximately 1,200 insureds to the CU Health Plan: prepare and distribute vital communications to stakeholders, coordinate termination procedures with prior vendors, compile data to complete transition procedures efficiently.
