I procure items from over 90 vendors and maintain inventory levels on items such as fresh salads, fresh soups, and fresh burgers as well as many other perishable, frozen, and non food items.I am responsible for all aspects of marketingand collecting money from vendors, maintaining rebate programs, bill backs, and customer contracts. I help coordinate our annual food show andI travel to multiple buying conferences and meet with existing vendors and form relationships with potential new vendors.I deal with the sales department finding new items for customers and educating them onour products. I deal with the transportation department and assist with any issues that may arise as far as deliveries are concerned.I work in the test kitchen testing new products and checking on existing products to make sure the quality is acceptable.
