I have industry experience with a summer internship at the Denton TxDOT office. During my time there, I got hands-on work with materials testing, verifying plans were being executed correctly, as well as an understanding of how contractors and inspectors operate on all phases of a project. When I am not working or doing schoolwork, running takes up most of my time. I have run two marathons, and plan to qualify for the Boston Marathon by the time I graduate.
