Retained by Havi's Senior Finance Director on a consulting basis for projects including: equipment remarketing, review of vehicle maintenance data, financial reporting disclosures, negotiation of lease assignments and resolution of pension withdrawal liabilities.

Worked directly with the President and responsible for accounting, financial reporting, contract administration, technology strategy and capital procurement. Selected accomplishments include:Software Implementation – Directed the implementation of a comprehensive accounting and maintenance software (Enrich) which improved productivity, reduced billing time and enabled parts inventory management to become “real time” improving profitability and cash flow.Vehicle Procurement and Financing – Lease structuring with financing sources and customers as both a lessee and lessor, respectively, to ensure competitive pricing. Cash flow was maximized via match funding of equipment lease terms.Leadership and General Management – Monitored and enhanced a business model that developed a customer base of large creditworthy customers allowing company to maximize its financial leverage and return on capital employed. Equipment procurement practices and conservative residuals consistently resulted in profitable equipment dispositions. General Manager during Cessation of Operations – With President, recommended Havi divest Primms as the company was no longer a strategic fit for the parent organization. Sixteen maintenance facilities in ten states were transitioned to customers and / or competitors from January through November 2008. From July forward, held full responsibility for closure of final three facilities. With a goal of maintaining Havi’s excellent reputation in a cost effective manner, met all obligations to customers, vendors and employees. Primms was a full service vehicle lease and maintenance provider. Wholly owned subsidiary of Havi Group, the largest global supplier to McDonald’s restaurants. With revenues of approximately $40 million, Primms developed a market niche with its expertise in the maintenance of refrigerated equipment for major food service companies utilizing multi-temperature trucks and trailers.

Reported to the President / Onwer of this group of privately held entities engaged in full service truck leasing, transportation, restaurant operations and real estate activities. Responsible for all aspects of accounting and finance which included:- Solicited capital and structured plans for Carmichael Steakhouse and Carmichael Place Town Homes, which represented initial ventures in restaurant operations and real estate development.- Directed income tax planning for all related corporations, patrnerships and individuals.- Designed information systems to efficiently consolidate all entities and enhance the analysis of profitability and cash flow.- Negotiated lines of credit for on going fleet additions and working capital.

Directed all accounting and various finance functions for this publicly held equipment lessor and general partner for two equipment income funds. Performed due diligence reviews for equipment portfolio acquisitions and directed external financial reporting including filings with the SEC. During a two year period of rapid growth the equipment portfolio being managed increased from $25MM to $75MM and company staff increased from five to ninety. The portfolio consisted of medical, telecommunication, manufacturing, computer and office equipment.
