I am currently an Information Security Analyst. I have been in the IT field for over 8 years. Additionally, I am a Honorably discharged service member. Within the Marine Corps I held a number of billets. Some of which being: IT Support, Network Administrator, System Administrator, Personnel Management Coordinator, and Head of IT and Network Operations.My goals for the future over the next few years is to pursue a degree in Computer Sciences, and obtain the CISSP certification. Video games have always been a passion of mine ever since the time that I played my first game, Pokémon Stadium. Because of this, I have always been inclined to work in the IT field. Due to the ever evolving state of Information Technologies, my desire for more knowledge is always engaged.I have accomplished a wide range of tasks such as: creation and approval of an SSP with regards to all IT related topics, completed multiple network upgrades, relocations, and remote work transitions utilizing teams of varying sizes in a timely manner in order to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency, tested, documented, and developed guidance in which would be used as the standard for vulnerability analysis across 50 different locations, administrated a data repository utilizing VEEAM with a total of 12 different virtual environments with both Windows server 2000-2008 and Red Hat Linux, and supported multiple groups of personnel ranging from 150-1200 people with teams of varying sizes up to a max of 13.Some of my highest values are efficiency, integrity, and desire for improvement.
