My professional interests are in natural products research, analytical instrumentation, and metabolomics data analysis. I have exceptional problem solving and leadership skills, am good at working with my hands, and working under pressure. I have no qualms with a challenge, the harder the better. I work very well independently, but both enjoy and utilize a small team dynamic. My previous work has been in the development of metabolomics software, workflows, and analytical techniques. I am the primary creator of the MADByTE analysis pipeline. I have advanced hands on experience with advanced analytical techniques and equipment such as High Pressure Liquid Chromatography (HPLC and UPLC), High Resolution Mass Spectrometry (ToF and Orbitrap variants), Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (Jeol and Bruker). I have a great amount of experience in the extraction, separation, and analysis of Natural Products (secondary metabolites) from botanical, fungal, and marine actinobacteria sources.
