I entered Stony Brook University in 2007, enrolled in the College of Engineering and Applied Sciences for Mechanical Engineering where I acquired knowledge of leading edge engineering principles, tools, and practices. In fall 2010, I was accepted into the Stony Brook's Graduate School for Mechanical Engineering. Apart from my immediate course studies, I was accepted to be a graduate researcher, which involved a combination of mechanical engineering as well as the fundamentals of computer science. I was responsible for the design of a control system using electromyography which was primarily used to actuate wheelchairs in the field of physical therapy. My most current work involves a variety of sensors and actuators to map three-dimensional environments using SICK lasers and Mobile Robots. Graduate research tasked me to think strategically in order to overcome challenges and meet deadlines. My education from Stony Brook University’s Graduate Mechanical Engineering Program, as well engineering research and course work will be a valuable asset within the company. I have a strong willingness to learn and passion to contribute to my environment.
