Responsible for organizing and maintaining a procurement department for the purchase of all fresh seafood on a best price / best quality basis.Controlling the purchase and supply of all fresh seafood items. Negotiating price and terms of products with suppliers. Managing, developing & improving the purchasing team. Establishing terms, pricing, quality requirements, delivery, and contracts. Reviewing all contracts/agreements to achieve ‘best price/best quality’ purchasing. Giving sourcing input to colleagues to aid business planning & development. Making recommendations & advising senior management on all purchasing issues. Managing vendor relationships and building effective supply chain partnerships.

Manage and analyze the preparation of complex Alternative Investment products such as Hedge Funds, Private Equity and Exchange Traded Funds Financial Statements using general ledger trial balances, and other fund accounting supporting documents

• Responsible for preparing and analyzing/reviewing quarterly, semi- annual and annual financial statements for Private Equity Partnership, Exchange and Hedge Funds complexes in accordance with SEC and GAAP requirements• Coordinate each report cycle through production calendars and planning sessions working with the client, auditors, internal State Street departments • Test new Financial Reporting applications and financial statement templates. Identify and resolve issues as they arise • Respond to all ad hoc client and or audit or requests• Communicate and coordinate the distribution of all drafts of the financial statements to all external and internal parties.• Research and resolve all client and audit or questions, comments and issues• Provide financial statement preparation guidance to specialists by providing and walking through review comments• Manage and perform planning procedures in order to identify any issues prior to the reporting cycle • Mentor, coach, and train Associates by resolving issues and providing candid and constructive feedback in a timely manner
