I am a recent graduate from the University of Louisville with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. During my undergraduate career, I completed two co-op rotations at Hitachi Cable America Inc. in New Albany, Indiana. In my two co-op rotations at Hitachi Cable America Inc., I conducted time studies to improve production line efficiency and performed failure analysis on brake hoses. I also did tests on brake hose fittings to test permeability. In between tasks, I shadowed a veteran engineer at Hitachi and learned invaluable things about the plant operations. My third co-op rotation was scheduled for the summer of 2020 but was cancelled due to the pandemic. I had been looking forward to spending that rotation learning about supply chain operations.Through my studies at the University of Louisville, my working career, and my involvement in a fraternity, I pride myself on managing multiple responsibilities, meeting deadlines, and my interpersonal skills. As an entry level engineer, I look forward to putting my skills to use while gaining new knowledge and skills to further my career.
