I am currently in my fourth year of education at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. I will be graduating in May of 2023 with a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and a minor in Sustainability. Throughout my studies, I have maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.71 with multiple Dean’s List honors. I have been involved with the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity where I notably was elected to serve on the Executive Board as well as holding a number of cabinet positions. I have also been selected to serve on the University of Nebraska President’s Sustainability Council where I have been working with the Built & Natural Environment team. We are developing system wide recommendations in order to achieve a more sustainable university system. Lastly, I am an assistant/ distance running coach for Mercy High School in the Omaha area. This position in particular is allowing me to grow as a leader and focus on long-term planning, team management, and encouragement. I am using my own experience as a student athlete, specifically my experience training competitively for marathons throughout my college experience. I believe distance running in particular exemplifies long-term planning skills effectively because training requires daily preparation for a goal (race) months away.
