Hello! My name is Joseph, and I am currently a student at Columbia University in New York. I am pursuing degrees in mathematics, religion, and middle eastern studies. In addition to academics, I have a long history of serving others in leadership positions and constantly look to further improve my team building skills. I've been involved in scouting since first grade, obtaining the rank of Eagle Scout in high school. Since then, I've used the skills I learned to give back to my community, organizing tutoring activities for my school and helping others discover their voice as president of my Future Business Leaders of America club among other pursuits.Furthermore, I love to help others learn and have been a volunteer tutor since I was 15. It is my endearment for education that leads me to enjoy enabling others to find excitement in learning and knowledge.In the future, I hope to be involved in academia and contribute my research to help further advance mathematical knowledge.
