After spending my entire professional career in corporate sales, what I still enjoy most about selling is being in front of clients. This wonderful option of making appointments to meet new people and visit new parts of our great country & the world has always helped to keep things interesting for me. I even joke with some of my work colleagues when they sometimes sympathize with the challenges associated with selling, that I can pick up and leave and gain an infusion of motivation just by seeing new potential clients along with long-time business partners and friends. I really pride myself on being more and more tuned-in to what people want & need as opposed to what I want. I have found that the results part of what I do kind of takes care of itself after that because I do my best to always stay focused on solving issues or making my clients’ lives easier. In fact, some of my best clients have told me that they appreciate the fact that I am easy to deal with and I don’t add more clutter to their busy workday with lots of unnecessary questions or requirements for working together. The French Color & Fragrance culture has really helped me to see the importance of collaboration and team-building throughout these last 13 years and I feel privileged to be working here. There is a certain tranquility at FCF and the value of that tranquility comes out in the way we all treat each other and others. We also understand how important our business is and we are careful with it. Our best relationships and the most mutually prosperous partnerships over the years have come about as a result of "rooting for" our clients. This desire to see our clients succeed and grow is a shared experience because when they grow, we grow, and ultimately, it makes us all better at what we do.
