After 24 years operating skilled nursing facilities (120-265 employees), I ventured into medical cannabis as a cultivator, medical cannabis advisor, product formulator and operations set-up and manager. I am a customer focused while achieving desired operational/organization outcomes. I have an extensive skill set to offer: cash-flow management, business development, marketing (print material development, website development, content development, target market analysis, etc), team building, financial report evaluation and production (including QB for a couple of start-us), investor presentations, business plan development and writing, spreadsheet development, project management, regulatory compliance, HR management, policy and procedure development, customer service training development and implementation, etc. My passion in cannabis has been on helping patients find cannabis alternatives to opioid/narcotic medications, anti-anxiety medications and prescription sleep meds. I've developed dosing schedules, treatment protocols and individualized approaches to finding the cannabis product that works. I've met with physicians to talk about cannabis alternatives and educated them on how to bill for their consultation. All my cultivation was used by a small San Diego manufacturer to make tinctures for use with medical patients.Currently I work with Present Enterprises, as start up company based in CA, as the COO. We are a CBD product company focused on simple formulations, using natural ingredients, that provide effective relief from pain, anxiety, sleeplessness, etc.Long-term my focus is medicinal cannabis and expanding its use as an effective, safe alternative to opioid/narcotic medication use.
