Department Coordinator for the Electro-Mechanical, Printing and Packaging, Plastics and Business Departments.Some of my duties are to make sure that:• All Academic documentation (syllabi, course outlines, CAFs, supplementary classroom material, tests, assignments, etc.) is proofread for English accuracy and correct language modeling as well as for general accuracy (assessments, grading rubrics, course outlines, etc)• That all instructors are using unified syllabi and course outlines with clearly demarcated grading and testing schedules• That the pacing of the courses is adhered to, according to the course outline lecture schedules• That all students have the course material at the beginning of the semester• Testing is unified amongst all faculty in terms of form and content, versions, answer keys, scheduling• Test results are reported in a timely manner (Maximum of 2 days) and results verified if needed• That regular departmental meetings are held and minutes are documented with regular updates reported to the Director• All standards and duties are adhered to as described in the Academic Performance Management System• Creating Schedules and assigning courses to instructors• Any changes in scheduling - i.e. Canceling, merging classes, etc• Changing the physical location of a class• Ensuring that all instructors are keeping appropriate records according to instructor duties
