Manage client audits, book of accounts, taxes & advisory work on all aspects from initial planning to final reporting. I also develop and Implement the group’s overall strategy and compliance matters while managing the various teams including recruitment and training. I am also in charge of preparing high level reports and attending board meetings for clients as and when required.

• Direct and monitor all financial activity of the organization • Manage company cash flow projections, run way• Outline and implement company-wide budget plans and unit economics on sales• Prepare company financial statements monthly, quarterly, annually, and as needed • Oversee all accounting work and set up internal and external audits to ensure the accuracy of information and compliance with financial controls• Use data analysis to strategically forecast financial trends• Work with and advise the investment team on solid financial decision making to increase profits and minimize losses • Provide strategic financial planning advice to upper management for long-term growth and achievement of strategic results• Establish internal work processes for financial department (including accounting and billing) and monitor their progress• Maintain and manage investor client relationships, undertaking reconciliations and other matters• Analyze and interpret financial data and present the information with reports and presentations to the board of directors and executive director• Manage cash from any outside grants or funding• Stay abreast of current market trends and patterns and act accordingly• Asses company spending and work to reduce costs• Manage the finance department, training any new employees as necessary• Analyze and implement ERP system enhancements that would automate and ease daily activities as well as increase the visibility into the company’s financial performance and health• Handle tax matters and filing with the relevant authorities

• Preparing Invoices and ETRs and then sending to clients and following up with the clients to ensure that they have received all the documents.• Assisting in managing accounts payable and receivable by preparing payments to local and foreign suppliers and following up on debts.• Ensuring statutory returns are prepared and paid on time, including NHIF, NSSF, VAT and DIT.• Prepare bank reconciliations.

• Generation of invoices for payment, sending to clients and handling customer complaints.• Follow up and ensure that funds for all approved monthly requisitions and supplier payments are accounted for and paid for before the 15th of every month.• Management of office petty cash to facilitate utility payments.• Filing and payment of NHIF, NSSF and HELB deductions• Carrying out monthly bank reconciliations
