A self-driven Senior Network Engineer, with a Master’s Degree in Information Technology Management, experienced in network & IT support, troubleshooting and information systems. Strengths include Cisco, Checkpoint, Wireless, Data center technologies. Ability to offer hands-on knowledge based approach, prioritization of workloads and effectively communicate with internal and external parties. "I had the pleasure of working with Joe at Arch Coal. From the very beginning he was a tremendous asset to our team. Not only was he a joy to work with, our customers in the mine sites and STL HQ loved him as well! One example of his commitment to excellence was his initial on-call rotation. Joe had been with us for a very short while when his first turn to be after hours and weekend network operations support came due. We had an outage at one of our Utah mines on Joes watch. Because coal mines can be very isolated, getting parts in and out can be quite a logistical challenge. Joe received the call, and worked with the on-site mine IT personnel through the night to mitigate the issue to get them out of the danger zone, all while coordinating a weekend shipment, and delivery of replacement hardware. This is just one example. Beyond the outstanding initial impression, Joe was phenomenal to work with! Extremely collaborative and knowledgeable. At Arch Coal the network services team wore multiple hats. We served in design, and implementation roles as well as being responsible for day to day operations. Joe excelled at all three. He was a fantastic team mate and friend. I look forward to one day working with him again in the future. " Jonathan Jonathan LeggsSystems Engineer
