Daily responsibilities include project management, group staffing, proposal preparation, project permitting/design, construction specification and client development related to electric transmission line and natural gas midstream operations.Managed the engineering design, permitting, material procurement and construction of an eight (8) mile ($13M) 138kV Transmission Line project. The transmission line was designed and constructed in 13 months supplying 30MVA of load to a natural gas midstream cryogenic processing plant in Marshall County, WV.Provided consulting services to support the construction of a natural gas fractionation plant located in Marshall County, WV. Services included site evaluations, environmental impact, utility coordination, and site accessibility evaluations for construction feasibility.Provided project management to support the design and construction of multiple natural gas condensate Central Receipt Point (CRP) systems and NGL pipeline pump stations. Provided engineering support for the design and construction of a natural gas compressor station and metering station and coordinated the installation of a 69kV Transmission Line and Substation supplying power to the facility.Developed and administered a program to monitor project specific roadway damage to support Department of Transportation (DOT) and bonding requirements.Provided environmental permitting services for NPDES (SWPPP plans), US Fish and Wildlife endangered species (Indiana Bat), rail road crossing, cultural resources review (SHPO), DEP Notice of Intent (NOI), DEP Notice of Termination (NOT) and highway occupancy permits (DOH). Provided project management for transmission line engineering projects including proposal preparation, budget development, and contract administration.Provided structural engineering consulting services to analysis and evaluate transmission line and substation structures for latticed steel towers, steel poles and wood poles. Types of services included the inspection of existing lines and substations, structural analysis for additional loads due to reconductoring of a transmission lines, and the relocation and expansion of transmission lines evaluated to the current NESC and IEEE standards.Provided structural engineering services for the design of foundations for transmission lines and substation structures. TrAIL is a $820M project consisting of a 500-kilovolt transmission line and substation facilities extending 215 miles.Potomac-Appalachian Transmission Highline (PATH) – Performed engineering and project management activities. PATH, a Joint Venture with AEP, is a $1.8 billion project consisting of a 765-kilovolt transmission line and substation facilities extending approximately 275 miles from the Amos Substation in WV, to the proposed Kemptown Substation in MD. Targeted completion was schedule for June 2014, however, the project has been indefinitely suspended.Managed the designed, of a new family of steel lattice transmission towers in accordance with IEEE and ASCE standards using PLS Tower.
