I am currently a software dev working on the "Prelude" team here (handles patient registration). Since my start in 2020, I worked the tail end of porting legacy screens to their "HSWeb" framework, and then assisted with fixing bugs found once the software was launched. This included analyzing performance numbers for our team, giving our team a head-start when there was a company-wide performance escalation due to the new web framework.My experience in bullet point form:• Ported multiple screens to an custom in-house web engine, bringing them to modern accessibility standards and helping the company sunset their legacy framework• Gathered and tracked performance data (internal & customer), using it to fix bugs, focus on areas of improvement, and suggest customer configuration changes• Parsed crash logs from customer systems and walked through code to identify complex root causes and issue fixes, inlcuding rare/unreproducible race conditions

I was one of the initial three founders, coming on as the CTO. I was in charge of developing the website from scratch, including a CRM tool to allow students, tutors, and admins to manage tutoring sessions, including scheduling, billing, and email reminders. I hired Jared Higgins, who took over when I moved on in 2020.In bullet point form, my duties were:• Building and optimizing the company website using Amazon AWS, Node.js, and MySQL, including a management tool that saves tutors and admins hours per week.• Designing a video/whiteboard chat app using WebRTC, allowing sessions from anywhere in the U.S. This gave the company an edge during the pandemic and we were able to beat even the university-sponsored tutoring service• Implementing an email alert system for tutoring sessions, using a postfix email server (upgraded to an amazon one soon after).

I designed and implemented miscellaneous productivity-enhancing programs here, including:• Machine monitoring software. Tracks a dozen machines in real time, logs history.• A utility that generates and emails reports for vendors, saving Quality Assurance 2 hours/month.• A simple program that watches for inactivity, avoiding buying an extra $2500 license.• QA Excel templates, saving QA 15 minutes per inspection.I used Java, C++, and SQL here, as well as Google Drive, Sheets, and Gmail APIs.

I completed many miscellaneous tasks, helping the family business promote its products.• Created animations and editing videos using Powtoon and Screenflow.• Modified email campaigns in Infusionsoft.• Updated the company website using Wordpress.
