I joined BVI Airways when the fledgling airline was still only an idea. Together with the rest of our management team, I brought the airline through its OTAR Part 121 and FAA Part 129 certifications. Working closely with our regulator we were able to obtain our Airline Operating Certificate, and commenced operations within a year.As Director of Safety, the OTAR Part 119 post-holder for quality assurance, accountable for the development, implementation and oversight of the airline's Operational Control Program, Safety Management System, Compliance Management System, and Emergency Response programs.As Director of Operational Control, responsible for the management of BVI Airways' System Operations Control (SOC) department. I designed the policies and procedures necessary for the safe and efficient dispatch and operational control of BVI Airways' flights. My duties included the selection, configuration and integration of software and hardware systems for flight planning, performance analysis, aircraft loading and weight & balance, crew planning, flight safety/quality assurance, and departure control.

As the Vice President of Operations, I was responsible on an executive level for all Operations and Airworthiness requirements of the airline.As the Certification Project Manager, I was the direct liaison between The Company, the FAA, and other government agencies, for the overall supervision of all activities involving The Company's ongoing application for its Part 121 Air Carrier Certification.
