This involved keeping our flight crews in the air with safe and dependable equipment, on the spot repairs and inspections, asset acquirement, maintaining pressurized oxygen equipment, medical supplies and survival gear as well as ensuring crew scheduling and task management was completed.> Flight Training in which I trained new crew chiefs on the specifics of our missions and how we carry them out effectively. Our motto was “On time, on target +/- 30 seconds.” There was no exceptions to this to ensure the safety of our troops as well as the success of the mission. In order to achieve this myself and my team trained extensively to be proficient at every task expected of us.> I was also a rescue swimmer and life guard. This skill allowed me to train our troops how to survive, should we crash over water. I would also be the one to jump out and rescue them to safety.> 1300 hours of flight time on the MH-60L/K Blackhawk of which 550 hours are under night vision goggles.
