My primary focus is our Access Control System (ACS). Some of my responsibilities include feature work and bug fixes, migrating customer data from older versions to our current version, giving customer support insight into difficult issues, working in both the ACS code base and the embedded device firmware to ensure proper functionality between the systems, and creating tools for my co-workers and myself to accomplish our goals efficiently.

As Systems Developer at Modeco Systems I support and maintain our current product line which includes our flagship software TimeScape. TimeScape is time tracking software that utilizes barcode scanners and smartphones for data capture and integrates into various accounting packages. I work closely with our customers to assess their needs and add enhancements into our development plan to address them. I prioritize these enhancements based on demand and code the enhancements adding them to our core product as additional functionality, helping our product to evolve to suit our clients' needs. I am involved in all of the phases from requirement gathering all the way through implementation and supporting the customer.

My main role was development and maintenance programming for our primary product, Process Shipper. Process Shipper is a web based shipping solution that integrates with shipping carriers (FedEx, UPS, USPS, LTL, and Generic Carriers) and ERP Software (Hagen\Monarch, Pace, PSI, Logic, Radius, WorkWise, Sage, Informix and many more). Some of my other responsibilities included: Coding custom modules and working directly with customers to ensure successful implementation, mentoring both the support and implementation teams, server maintenance, database tasks (writing stored procedures, table design, table maintenance), trouble shooting upper level support issues, assisted with project management and customer relations, and coding several of our other products.
