During my career, I had the rare opportunity of working as in-house counsel for one of Canada’s largest life and disability insurers. In private practice, I have sued insurers on behalf of individuals whose disability and life insurance claims have been denied, and I have acted on behalf of insurers in defending disability and life insurance claims.
