I led on designing and implementing a new Business Continuity (BC) programme for the Department, incorporating lessons learned from the COVID-19 pandemic. - I undertook a full audit of the Department's BC programme across the Business Continuity Institute's programme management best practice, and wrote the strategy for how to align the Department with industry best practice. - I sought stakeholder input from across Whitehall and external government agencies during the development of my BC strategy giving me an evidence base for what works and what is achievable given budgetary constraints. - I was the Department's senior BC Director trusted advisor, briefing them on key challenges, quick wins, and offering a myriad of effective long-term solutions to address key blockers. - I successfully bid for £200,000 to implement a digital solution, ensuring the Department is aligned with other key stakeholders and industry best-practice, ensuring long-term resilience. I led on internal investigations and provided on-call support for on-site emergencies and incidents. - I provided advice and support to frontline security personnel during protest incidents- I provided Situational Reports (SitReps) to senior coordination staff, providing them with accurate adn timely information and tactical advice.

Led a team of Intelligence Researchers at the East Region Special Operations Unit (ERSOU)- Managerial: First line manager to Intelligence Researchers. Supported staff in their career development through identifying relevant training and peer support, as well as reviewing and signing off reports prior to dissemination. - Projects: Led on various projects including one on understanding the impact of hate crime in the Eastern Region. Collaborated with Prevent and hate crimes teams across the Eastern Region. - Professional Networks: Created a UK-wide virtual intelligence practitioners forum for regional Analysts. Met monthly to formalise a process of discussing emerging intelligence trends and to share best practice. - LGBT+: Active member of the Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire Constabulary's LGBT+ Network. Assisted with a working group looking at intersectional hate crime against police officers and staff.

Project lead and specialist on countering violent extremism at the East Region Special Operations Unit (ERSOU)- Projects: Coordinated a range of strategic and operational projects on topics across the ideological spectrum. Compiled a range of documents, including succinct intelligence reports, briefing documents and infographics. - Presentation: Presented research findings to senior investigating officers (SIO) and other key stakeholders. - Tableau: Created dynamic and actionable dashboards for senior management to track a range of quarterly key performance indicators (e.g. arrests).

Across different departments: - Provided investigating officers with succinct thematic reports covering issues such as strategic protest and violent extremism.- Led a project on refugee resettlement programmes and collaborated with Prevent and Local Authorities. Briefed final report to senior Police, Prevent and LA stakeholders. - Developed intelligence to support investigations and senior officers with identifying potential offenders. - Conducted open source research and led a practitioner working group to review existing open source policies, and share best practice among colleagues.

Various ad hoc research, including: - Research support to clients on various topics, including radicalisation and internet sub-cultures. - Co-authored a paper on the emergence of the drug Sisa (meth) and its devastating effects on Athens' population during the economic recession. Published on openDemocracy September 2013.- Wrote short articles on current affairs, including education and the EDL.

At Demos, I worked on the Populism in Europe Project, focusing on Italy and The Netherlands. For these, I designed a series of online surveys to capture raw qualitative and quantitative data. I also drafted sections of the final reports for the senior researchers. I wrote briefing notes and reports to strict deadlines on a range of topical issues. This included the UK Comms Data Bill (2012), social media and radicalisation, and London mentoring schemes.
