Sep 2020 - Present

Operations Supervisor

Cheyenne, Wyoming, United States

Coordinated Warehouse Operations for Inbound/Outbound Freight Movement. Managed team of 80+ personnel in Inbound Operations, processing all merchandise received by Sierra Trading Post.

Feb 2020 - Sep 2021

Overseas Security Contractor

Afghanistan

Hand selected as an elite cadre of personnel responsible for manning the camp’s Base Defense Operations Center (BDOC) to perform functions such as vetting and authorizing visitors, coordinating security sweeps in response to hostile attack, and operation of the Rapid Aerostat Initial Deployment (RAID) camera. As the BDOC controller, my scope of responsibility primarily rests with the coordination of US Army personnel and security contractors to all escalation of force incidents involving assigned areas of responsibility. However, in addition to operating the BDOC, I am also tasked with providing armed escort services, personnel and resource security, entry control, perimeter security to the Task Force compound, and the drafting and execution of small arms lesson plans and instruction.

Apr 2017 - Jul 2018

Base Defense Operations Center Controller

United States

As the base BDOC controller, I was tasked with the coordination of the base defense mission for the entire F.E. Warren AFB for dispatching and directing responding forces to all emergencies calls, to include 911 notifications, medical emergencies, civil disorder, and terror activity. The Base Defense Operations Center controller’s duties also require that he manage all Law Enforcement operations, as well as the training and certification of 14 personnel under their direct control. I attained certifications on the National Crime Information Center systems and ADVANTOR Alarm Monitoring system which further improved the installation’s defensive capability. With these certifications, I was responsible for conducting background checks and vetting all visitors onto the installation, as well as monitoring for alarms at critical facilities around the base. As a Non-Commissioned Officer in this role, I was also responsible for the direct supervision and performance rating of nine different personnel. Personnel, under my direction and supervision, conducted 640 random anti-terrorism measures, 168 hours of ancillary training, and joint tactical training with our local law enforcement’s SWAT team as well as the installation's special tactics team, TRF. As a result of my rigorous training programs, 14 personnel under my tactical control earned over half of all awards and distinguishments given at the Squadron level during the 2016-2017 time frame, placing themselves at the forefront of over 250 peers.

Aug 2016 - Mar 2017

Patrolman, Area Supervisor

United States Air Force/90 Sfg/90 Sfs

United States

As the Law Enforcement area supervisor I was personally charged with the safety and security of over 7,000 base personnel and family members, as well as over 300 structures and over $9 billion dollars in USAF assets. Myself, as well as the personnel tasked under me at my direction, conducted 640 random anti-terrorism measures, 427 exercises, regularly scheduled training, and post checks on subordinate patrols. I was directly responsible for proofing and processing of all law enforcement related paperwork, tickets, and reports executed during the shift. I was also responsible for the tactical usage of four law enforcement patrols, one K-9 team, and four gate guards in the event of any and all actions requiring a law enforcement response, to include active shooter scenarios, hostage, barricaded suspects, and penetrations into the base perimeter.

Jan 2016 - Mar 2017

Vehicle Operations, Non-Commissioned Officer In Charge (Ncoic)

United States

As NCOIC, I was given the responsibility for the coordination of vehicle maintenance, replacement, and procurement for a 229 vehicle fleet, which included 96 tactical armored vehicles and 133 4x4 trucks. I was also the primary tactical vehicles trainer for five different vehicle types, as well as the vehicle roll-over emergency egress, off-road driving, and Skid-Car ® trainer.

Feb 2013 - Jan 2016

Response Force Leader

United States

As the Response Force Leader, my job was to lead, train, and rate on personnel directly responsible for the security of USAF assets spread throughout geographically separated 9,600 square miles. Part of our duties included providing security to the USAF’s most vulnerable assets, convoy security, and night time operations. I was also responsible for 25 personnel in the recapture of USAF assets if necessary. While RFL certified, I received certification on seven weapon systems and received familiarization training on two more. The Response Force Leader is responsible for the tactical leadership of five heavy weapons teams, machine gun teams, and rifle teams during responses to attempted penetration to USAF resources.

Nov 2005 - Jan 2016

Missile Security Controller

United States

At Missile Security control, I was tasked with command and control for 135 security personnel throughout a 9,600 square mile, tri-state area. I planned and executed security response to vital USAF assets using information provided by USAF Office of Special Investigation, Intelligence Sections, and local law enforcement. Responsibility also falls to the MSC controller to coordinate forces to provide required security to launch facilities during joint American and Russian Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty inspections, requiring a high level of tactical and strategic security expertise.

Jan 2010 - Feb 2013

Truck Commander/Team Leader

Iraq

While deployed to Iraq, I lead, trained, and conducted drills on 17 personnel with whom I worked. We were directly responsible for the capture of Al Qaeda’s #3 commander within our tasked area of responsibility. I, along with the personnel I worked alongside with, conducted over 100 missions, to include personal security details, with zero injuries or fatalities among friendly forces. I was also tasked with the role of resupplying our team with critical assets and materials as they were depleted, as well as outfitting our personnel with the necessary safety equipment to maximize mission success.
