Hydraulic Technician, Engineering Department
CurrentAssembles, tests, and troubleshoots newly designed hydraulic components used throughout the aerospace industry, including linear actuators, control valves, and reservoirs.• Oversees all aspects of fabrication, repair, and adaptation of technical equipment used in the testing, qualification, and development of components • Designs, builds, tests, and optimizes custom-made hydraulic test stations based on schematics, engineering drawings, and written/verbal instruction from engineers; test-runs improved stations to verify efficiency• Troubleshoots and repairs existing components against written engineering procedures and manuals using electrical equipment such as PLC controllers, electrohydraulic servo valves, solenoids, oscilloscopes, multi-meters, and hydraulic test stands• Analyzes and records test results, including numerical and graphical data in relation to specifications and test objectives; collaborates with engineers to publish reports
