- Assembles, tests, and troubleshoots newly designed hydraulic components used throughout the aerospace industry, including linear actuators, control valves, and reservoirs.
- Oversees all aspects of fabrication, repair, and adaptation of technical equipment used in the testing, qualification, and development of components
- Designs, builds, tests, and optimizes custom-made hydraulic test stations based on schematics, engineering drawings, and written/verbal instruction from engineers; test-runs improved stations to verify efficiency
- Troubleshoots and repairs existing components against written engineering procedures and manuals using electrical equipment such as PLC controllers, electrohydraulic servo valves, solenoids, oscilloscopes.
- Analyzes and records test results, including numerical and graphical data in relation to specifications and test objectives; collaborates with engineers to publish reports
