We host both on- and off-campus events ranging from student film, and slack lining festivals to week-long back country skiing trips around Colorado’s Front Range and other surrounding states in pursuit of environmental stewardship and exploration. We host both on- and off-campus events ranging from student film, and slack lining festivals to week-long back country skiing trips around Colorado’s Front Range and other surrounding states in pursuit of environmental stewardship and exploration. I was in charge of managing a $10,000 budget that was used to maintain a gear rental program, host the 1st slacklining festival on campus, day hikes around the Front Range, a large group adventure (rock climbing, mountain biking and hiking) to Moab, UT, our 6th and 7th annual climbing competitions, two week long spring break trips to Mt. Rainier (first time) and Grand Canyon (first time), and the 4th annual student submitted film fest all subsidized out of our budget so that students can afford to go on an inexpensive experience that they could not have supported on their own knowledge and and funds Show less
