As of July 2023, my role expanded to Head of Engineering for Sterling's Client and Candidate Platforms. My organization is made up of 22 teams and 138 technology professionals (software engineers, DBAs, DevOps, etc.), located in the United States, Mexico, and India. My teams own multiple platforms (including our primary SD Platform), our client and candidate web portals, our partner and client integrations, and multiple other applications. All applications for my teams are hosted in AWS and make extensive use of AWS services. Tech stacks include .NET, Java, PHP, Node, React, and others. 85%+ of Sterling's revenue flows thru systems owned by my teams.

As of September 2019, I'm leading multiple client-facing Specialized Services teams, covering areas such as client integrations, small business, gig economy, and volunteers screening. My teams span multiple tech stacks, including Java, PHP, .NET, Node, and React, and adhere to common automated build, testing, and deployment pipelines.Initially in this role, I had 9 teams focused on delivering automation and web portals for fulfillment of our global products. My teams primarily built and maintained .NET Core REST APIs and Aurelia- or React-based SPAs and have full pipeline automation using Jenkins, AWS CLI & CFT, and a custom testing framework. All applications for the last several years have been hosted in AWS and heavily utilize AWS tools like Route 53, API Gateway, Lambda, DynamoDB, SWF, S3, etc.
